The Ultimate All-inclusive Mexican Escape
f you’ve ever wondered whether Club Med Cancun is worth it… let me just say this upfront:
👉 This was one of my favourite work trips I’ve ever done.
From luxury all-inclusive living to jungle adventures, Mayan ruins and beach days that look straight out of a postcard, this trip had everything.
Let me take you through it.
This trip kicked off with flights via LA and Atlanta with Delta Airlines—and let’s just say, I got VERY lucky.
There was a surprise upgrade draw… and I ended up in Delta Business Class 🙌

Honestly, the perfect way to start a long-haul journey to Mexico.
We landed in Cancun and headed straight to Club Med Cancun and within minutes, we were in holiday mode.
First stop? Dinner at The Estancia, one of the resort’s specialty restaurants, followed by welcome drinks, dancing and that classic Club Med energy.
✨ Fun, social, and instantly relaxing.
One of the biggest highlights was our day trip to Cobá Mayan Ruins and wow.
Located about 2.5 hours from Cancun, this ancient city is hidden deep in the jungle and feels far less touristy than others.
We:
- Rode bikes through the jungle (so much fun!)
- Climbed the Nohoch Mul pyramid (42m high 😮)
- Took in insane panoramic views from the top
Afterwards, we visited a cenote and swam through caves in crystal-clear water honestly one of the most magical experiences of the trip.
Back at the resort, it was time to experience everything Club Med Cancun all-inclusive has to offer and trust me, there is A LOT.
We tried:
- Kayaking
- Waterskiing
- Trapeze (yes… actual flying trapeze!)
- Tennis & pickleball
- Archery
👉 You could stay here for a week and still not get through everything.
This is what makes Club Med so unique, it’s not just a resort, it’s an experience.
We stayed in the family rooms, and when I say they’re big… I mean BIG.
My room was:
- 2 bedrooms with 3 beds
- 2 bathrooms
- Massive living space
…for just me 😅
And then there’s the Jade Exclusive Collection space—Club Med’s luxury enclave within the resort.
👉 Think elevated service, premium spaces, and a quieter, more luxe vibe.
The food? Honestly exceeded expectations.
Standouts included:
- Hacienda – the main restaurant with endless options
- Taco Arte Beach Lounge – fresh, beachfront Mexican vibes
- The Estancia – elevated dining experience
- The Crêperie – because… dessert is essential
Everything was:
✔ Flavoursome
✔ Authentic
✔ High quality
And the best part?
👉 It’s all included. No wallet needed.
On our final night, we headed out to Coco Bongo… and OMG.
This is NOT your average nightclub.
Think:
- Acrobat performances
- Live shows
- Music, dancing, confetti, balloons
- Non-stop entertainment
It’s basically a Vegas-style show meets nightclub—and it’s wild in the best way.

- ✔️ Bring USD + small notes if leaving the resort
- ✔️ Pre-book transfers (trust me on this)
- ✔️ Get off the resort at least once (ruins, cenotes, Isla Mujeres)
- ✔️ Pack reef-safe sunscreen
- ✔️ Stay hydrated—it gets HOT
I LOVED this trip.
Cancun is absolutely stunning white sand, bright blue water, perfect weather but what made it even more special was staying at an all-inclusive like Club Med.
It’s:

- And genuinely something for everyone
